Glen Matlock Acoustic Tour- HURRY!
Glen Matlock Acoustic Tour- HURRY!

Who is Glen Matlock?  The name I’m sure sounds familiar but are you sure who he is?  This is the issue when you were in one of the most influential bands in rock and roll, are still alive and still very much going strong.

The problem really is when someone who makes a bigger splash steals your thunder.  In this case Glen Matlock was replaced by Sid Vicious in the notorious Sex Pistols.  First and foremost though , Matlock is a dynamic bassist and writer who since those Pistol days has not say around like a boring old cow bitching how he coulda been a contender. Instead he has gone on with fabulous solo work as well as collaborations with everyone from Iggy Pop to Primal Scream.   Glen along with his band The Philistines released “Born Running” in 2010, just to make sure no one would forget him.

Now we get a treat of an acoustic small venue event for a very brief time.   Rumor has it he’s a pretty funny guy with tons of tales and a rather snarky attitude.  Sounds wonderful!  I can tell you The Middle East in Boston is TINY so grab a ticket right away if you want to breath air with a legend.

 Local Dates:
7th Nov – The Cutting Room – New York, NY
8th Nov – Middle East Club – Boston, MA
