Oh god, The Starting Line just brings me back to my childhood. My summer mornings would consist of me blasting their 2005 album "Based on a True Story" and wailing out the lyrics to "Bedroom Talk" into a hairbrush.
Even though I was younger and never fully understood the meanings of certain songs, it makes me appreciate Pennsylvanian pop-punkers The Starting Line even more now that I'm older. The "Based On A True Story" album is one album I want to be buried with. I've always admired The Starting Line's ability to create such classic, powerful, sentimental punk-pop songs that make you want to sing your heart out until your breath is faint and your lungs give out. If you have never had this experience with a band or an artist, you have never listened music.
After a long needed break, The Starting Line has finally returned from their hiatus, reuniting for an unforgettable winter tour; The "Say It Like You Mean It" Tenth Anniversary Tour. The Starting Line has toured with memorable punk-pop bands including Sum41, Yellowcard, Fall Out Boy, and Brand New and continues to blow away their veteran fans
.
The Starting Line pretty much kept me sane through middle school. How I would love to meet the group that heavily influenced many of my favorite artists and bands. But I'm gonna start sobbing because the closest date to me is sold out.

If you have never listened or even heard of The Starting Line, your welcome, and peep one of my favorite songs by them "Bedroom Talk"
