Rolling Stones In The Studio?
Rolling Stones In The Studio?

I’m not sure about you but I’m darn sick of all the teasers for The Rolling Stones anniversary.  Yes, its awesome they’re still at it 50 years later but honestly quit the darn rumors already.

There must be so much politics behind a band that is that enormous. So many managers and handlers involved that ordering a sandwich takes legal counsel.

Late last week, Jagger tweeted a photo of him in the studio, surrounded by guitars and amps (see above), along with the news: "Had fun in the Paris studio this week!"

But let’s face it Jagger has an incredible sense of humor so are we sure the Stones were recording? Solo? Friend? Neighbor?  Who knows.. he had fun, that’s the only thing we know.  Yet the standard news sources are raging we are to get new Stones material.  I say hold your breath.  Yes hold it.

As much as I would like to hear new Rolling Stones (and I’m not even a ‘fan’) (editor note: apparently you never heard a bigger bang, please lord no new material) I wouldn’t put too much faith in that occurring.  Where’s the tour?  Where’s the videos?  Where are the guest spots?  So far all we have gotten is gossip and a coffee table book.

Let’s go guys—anyone see Keith lately?  Yeah, how long do we have?

Last month Mick told The Evening Standard  You will definitely be seeing us all together soon. It’s been great fun being back together and there are a lot of memories in here. I can’t believe it’s been 50 years. We’ve been hanging out together, seeing quite a bit of each other and we want to do some gigs.”
