Vans House Parties, Brooklyn NY
Vans House Parties, Brooklyn NY

Free shows are cool  Free shows sponsored by cool companies are cooler- and Brooklyn?  Hipster paradise.

The shows which are free of charge are held at the Vans 25,000 square foot renovated warehouse in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn.  Each show  will start at at 7pm, but lines have been long in previous years so early arrival is encouraged. If the thought of going to Brooklyn upsets your zen you can watch these events from the comfort of your easy chair.  Which isnt a bad thing considering the heat these shows must generate.

Bands set to perform over the five dates include: 7 Seconds, Baroness, Cursive, Doomriders, H2O, Joyce Manor, King Khan & The Shrines, Night Birds, Titus Andronicus, Turbonegro, Chairlift, Lemonade, Love As Laughter, Nicky Da B, The Everymen, Tournament, and Washed Out.

The first show is July 12 with H20 and 7 Seconds, rocknyc faves Titus Andronicus step up on August 16th.  Remember to RSVP or you may not get in
