The Arctic Monkeys were there playing the gig of a lifetime, preceding Paul McCartney like an ugly matron of honor. Takes balls to do this so I will give them props for the nerve.  That being said – it sucks.

The only redemption in this tune is some great bass sound.  The vocals are boring karaoke and who the hell chose this to be performed anyway?  I used to love the Monkeys so I'm not happy when I have to say they blow.  Now they're Blow Monkeys…

The Olympics are a farce.  I don't much care about it and I have no national pride.  The opening act made me furrow my brow and wonder what the fuck was up with my people. Nice farm, cool maypole and where is Monty Python?  But as Iman announced its a tourist commercial and well if the Arctic Monkeys paying homage to The Beatles was the brainstorm of entertainment- well that explains allot. 

I want the old Arctic Monkeys back- I hate what they have become.  I hate this version of a fabulous song and well, like I said hopefully this video will get banned and it will be as if it never happened at all.
