20-year-old Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington disappeared after leaving a Metallica concert in 2009 in Charlottesville, VA, and her remains were found three months later about 10 miles from the venue. Police said she left the concert early and was denied re-entry, and I wonder why,… she was last seen hitchhiking and her t-shirt was found outside a building near the auditorium.
She was obviously killed by some maniac and the police may even have a suspect thanks to DNA linked to another sexual assault done in 2005 in the same area, however, Virginia Police spokewoman declared: ‘We don't know who he is so we don't know where he is’
But Metallica has now decided to get involved and they have recorded a public service video to try to help catch the guy who did it. Metallica cares and it doesn’t seem to be about publicity, as Morgan’s mother said that the band has been supportive from the outset, declaring:
‘The band reacted to that right away. It was a matter of days before James Hetfield was on the phone to (her husband) Dan saying, 'As a father, I am outraged.'
Just watch James Hetfield explain the whole deal, there is a $150,000 reward!
