1. It's Only Rock N Roll – Juliana Hatfield – A couple of years before Mick Jagger legitimized the Stones also ran on SNL, Hatfield beat him to it during a daytrotter session. Hatfield's up and downs with touring all well documentated (by her in  a memoir) but never before has "if I could stick a pen in my heart, spill it all over the stage…" seemed less histrionic: a glimpse into what it takes Juliana (and Mick) to get up and do it – Grade:A

2. Rock N Roll Is The Answer – Joey Ramone – From it's Elton John quote to its MTV nod, this is mediocre Joey from a long time ago – Grade: B

3. Taylor, The Latte Boy – Kristin Chenowith – Better than having her sing country – Grade: B

4. Rode All Night – Paul And Linda McCartney – An eight minute jam from the extended Ram of great beauty and wonder! – Grade: A

5. Kaleidoscope Heart – Sara Barelles – Jazzy singer songwriters clears her throat – Grade: B

6. Vampires – Maps & Atlases – Their best song might make you think they are the Dirty Projectors… actually they are Phish – Grade: A

7. Myxomatosis- Radiohead – Thom's version of "White Rabbit" one assumes – Grade:B +

8. Nikoette – Conot Oberst – "Texting my friend about a bad bad dream", is an epigram for Saddlecreek – Grade: A

9. Hanging On the Telephone – Eutopia – Discordant, stomper cover – Grade: B+

10. Songs For Ghosts To Haunt Us – Maps & Altases – If I had heard this, off their first EP five years ago, I might have understood what the set would be like – Grade: B+
