1. Circle, Square, Triangle – Test Icicles – Blood Orange's first band were an influential indie dance band from England and from (gasp!) 2006. Seven years later half the indie bands on Earth sound exactly like this: Fire Engines meets LCD – Grade: A

2. Champagne Coast – Blood Orange – And more recently, a superb one man band like what you imagine Kevin Greenspon would sound like if he gave a fuck about sales.

3. False Jesii Part 2 – Pissed Jeans – The best rock and roll band in the world right this second – Grade: A+

4. Run And Don't Stop – The Rocket Summer – Tom Pettyish old fashioned rocker. What will it take to break this guy? Grade: B+

5. Do You Think About Me – Carrie Underwood – Better than her usual pop ballade – Grade: B+

7. Far Away In Another Town – Justin Townes Earle – Classic country off his first album – Grade: A-

8. Caroline, No – Glenn Frey – No, no, no Grade: D+

9. Hi Heel Sneakers – Chuck Berry – Too bluesy but the vocals are tops – Grade: B+

10. Last Train To Clarksville – The Monkees – This was a hit before the TV show hit the airwaves – Hrade: A+
