Last Post About The Rolling Stones on SNL This Week

It ain't happenin'.  There ya go- so you're stuck with Jeff Beck and the tools from Arcade Fire (seriously who invited them??)  The source of this sad sad news?  Keith Richards, who said the following:   "I spoke to Mick and he said it's something that he said yes to many months ago, so he's just doing it. He's on his own."

Yet Jaggy will surround himself with AF and The Foo Fighters, its as if SNL wants to stick the final fork in their viewers eye.  The season had about 10 good skits all season.  It is an atrocity that has lost its edge more dramatically than LCD Soundsystem.  I have no idea what is up with the writers but its usually a cyclical suckage with SNL, so far we have two season strong of bad jokes and cliche'.

So I find it perfect that Mick Jagger as Tiny Tim, the icon of cool days gone by sits on a tiny stage with the Ghost of Rock and Roll Future, upstart hipster frauds Arcade Fire, the pathetic excuse for current Ghost of Rock and Roll Present Foo Fighters, and The Ghost of Rock and Roll Past Jeff Beck.

I'm just glad its over- I get a couple months of not having to sit through mediocrity.
