Garbage On Jimmy Fallon

Shirley Manson in her jammies.  That pretty much sums up the video below.  It is so nice to see Garbage back in the swing even though theyre older they still have the air of hip chic and honestly I am unsure how they pull this off.

Musically fresh they appear to be business as usual, no big drama no big effort.  Seemless simplicity for a band that has been around for decades now.  I complain often about bands who try to appear or behave like they did when they were 20, Garbage takes their maturity and makes it oddly cool.  Perhaps beause they nver really had a gimmick.  Just a way cool rock band with a super cool frontwoman.

I may not be a big fan of the new LP but I am still a very big fan of Garbage and want them to continue to perform and record.  There really arent band out there that offer the same intelligent lyrics delivered with a disturbing edgy quality.  I say we hold on to these guys as long as we can.

Their new album "Not Your Kind Of People", is doing well on indie charts but airplay?  Not so much.  Thats what I find most disturbing, you really cant get more than "Im Only Happy When It Rains" on your local radio- that simply isnt enought.  They deserve more attention.  Give it up!
