Art Alexakis is a pretty self confident guy.  When I spoke with him years ago I can honestly say, I wasn't a fan.  I have a problem with artists who spend more time double explaining themselves than just getting to the point.

The band Everclear are streaming a new song and well it sounds just like 90's Everclear.  It sounds dated and boring.  To be honest there is nothing new about it.  It is as if there were lost demo's or something, it is that true to early Everclear.  I suppose the die hard fans (are there any?) will love this.  If you are stuck in the last decade, well hot diggity for you, you've got a new tune to love.

For those of us who willingly acknowledge that the 90's were the dark ages of rock and roll this is horrific.  Do not bring back the 90's just don't do it- there are some decades that should just stay closed.

The track is taken from the band's new album, "Invisible Stars", which is released on June 26th.  If my predictions are correct this lousy tune will get a few weeks on the 'alternative' commercial laden radio then poof off in to oblivion.

The tune sucks and you'd think after all these years and all that self gratification something new would come up.. ain't happening

Listen here but brace yourselves.
