The last time I saw Armor For Sleep the person I went with passed out mid set from dehydration.  Not the most fun I've ever had at a show but luckily she was very light and I was able to catch her and drag her to a medic.  But hot summer days and black top music festivals must always have a casualty.

The band sorta tanked after that- they went on that 'hiatus' thing everyone loves to do when they're not sure what the hell is up next and they're tired.

The big surprise is the guys got together and played Bamboozle and perhaps are now rejuvenated and are back in the groove.  They released the following statement.

"CANNOT THANK YOU GUYS ENOUGH for last night! to everyone who was there-it means the world to us. we know how much time and $ was spent for you to be there with us. we have had sooo much fun prepping for bamboozle and we got an offer to HEADLINE in NYC at irving plaza july 14th. we are excited to get to play an EXTENDED set. seriously, thank you all so much. love seeing your pics from last night!"

So there you have it, Armor For Sleep are back and it is summer.  Try to catch them as they do put on a great show but stay hydrated.
