For some reasons, I get the idea that Joni Mitchell’s fans are going to react violently at this: According to Variety, Taylor Swift may be soon playing Joni Mitchell in Sony Pictures and Di Bonaventura Pictures’ adaptation of ‘Girls Like Us’, a book by Sheila Weller.

Swift hasn’t an official offer still, but she has been linked to the role for several months, and other actresses are gonna play Carly Simon and Carole King in the same film.

Wasn’t Taylor Swift supposed to have a role in Les Miserables? She doesn’t have a real acting experience, as she just played a very short role in some stupid comedy called 'Valentine’s day'…

So do you think she looks like Joni? No! Taylor can do all the braids and bang she wants, she will always look like this manufactured cover girl for 17 year-old girls magazine, Joni on the other hand, is unique.

And do you think she can sing like Joni? Not a chance! Just compare the two:
