1. Used To Rule The World – Bonnie Raitt – Sounds like Steely Dan in blues-jazz mode, and while it is a specific subject, it feels like a wider net. With lines like "never had to worry about the cost of living", the fall of the characters she is listing may have something to do with the economy. Or even the blues itself. Grade: B

2. Last – Nine Inch Nails – It's not that it is more melodic than later period, it is that it is more acceessible, more identifiable. Hrade: B+

3. I Woke Up With This Song In My Head This Morning – Bright Eyes - A song  about listening to songs – Grade: A

4. Matrimony – Gilbert O'Sullivan – "Something that begins with m and ends in alas…" Grade: A-

5. Just Because – Larry Williams – That note on the piano to open the track is pure rock and roll magic – Grade: A+

6. Young Blood – The Naked And The Famous – Indie rockers gain following – Grade: B+

7. Bloom – Radiohead – Opening track off the new one, opening song in concert, the band claimed it was unfinished but it sounds good to me. Grade: A-

8. Green Worms – The Brian James Gang – Back in the garage, Brian plays a swampy blues thing – Grade:B+

9. Turn Up The Light – Pinzhorn Dance School – The bass rules it – Grade: B+

10. Fale de Air – Rhumba! – Grade: B+
