Everybody In The World Is The Beatles
Everybody In The World Is The Beatles

In ancient Greece around 500 BC, the first concept of two types of personaily, introver and extrovert, came about. And it has never gone away. Indeed, over the years it has expanded with everything from the Astrological charts -which breaks down human nature into twelve distinct types, to modern networking, where human personality breaks down as follows, according to my friend and business partner Joe McElroy:

Comander

Enthuisiast

Thinker

Connecter

All well and good but the truth is, all people breakdown into four types. The Beatles members.

That's right, folks. We Are all members of the Beatles

John Lennon – The Leader

Paul McCartney – The Wannabe

George Harrison – The Jealous

Ringo Starr – The jolly loser.

Try it… go on…

The Obama administration

Obama – John

Hillary – Paul

Rahm Emanual – George

Joe Biden – Ringo

How about another band? The Rolling Stones

Mick – John

Keith – Paul

Ron – George

Bill – Ringo

The Republican candidates?

Mitt – John

Newt – Paul

Rick – George

Ron – Ringo

Amazing, right?

You could use it to point out the relationships on my own life and it would still.

Indeed, to expand by a touch.

In our own  lives, we are all John Lennon, and other people play the other three Beatles. In every romance, one is John and the other is Paul. In John's life itself, he was John and Yoko was Paul. In Katy Perry's marriage, she was John and Russel Brand was Paul.

if there are kids, they will take up the other two Beatles. The third in command will be George and the youngest Ringo.

So… depending upon who you are with or where you are, you can move from a John to a Ringo. And when you are at a concert?

Featured Act: John

Support Act: Paul

Backstage Pass: George

Audience: Ringo.

Our roles change and are rechanged, we adapt them ourselves based upon our enviroment t and as our own John Lennon we are always in search for our Paul McCartney.

Lennons McCartney were McCartney and Ono. His Lennon were Aunt Mimi and Brian Epstein, even Allan Klein to a degree. When  Paul wanted to become John with the Beatles, John ignored him.

John's curse, and ours, is that he was the John and despite all his attempts to become a Paul, he couldn't quite do it. Pau's problem is that he is such a Paul it is amazing. Sucking up to Eric Clapton before the 9-11 MSG concerts, he out Pauls himself. And even when he got Lina to play Paul, he couldn't be Lennon.

For you and I, in a conversation we move between John and Paul depending upon the conversation and, sometimes, if we we are the third wheel in it, we are suddenly George, being ignored at the sideline or, perhaps, our input not really needed as we suck up tp the boss, we are RINGO!

Ringo became the John of his own life eventually. Just being an ex-Beatle makes you a kind of a John, anyway,

Me? I play all four roles all day long, though I consider myself a George. I think all writers must be George's: it is such a third wheel role though really In our own  lives, we are all John Lennon, and other people play the other three Beatles. In every romance, one is John and the other is Paul. In John's life itself, he was John and Yoko was Paul. In Katy Perry's marriage, she was John and Russel Brand was Paul.

So now what can you do with that information? Not much, except when someone asks you who you are, telling them you play for a band from Liverpool.
