Deer Tick Rockin The Vote
Deer Tick Rockin The Vote

Deer Tick's current single is the personal best "Down To Zero", and they are going out on the road to support it. But also, to rock the vote. Apparently, Deer Tick are either

a) Pulling our legs

or

2) Really, really want you to vote and are therfore adding a non to Partisan records.

Hits me as all a bit of a leg pull but anyway, it is one they are taking seriously enough:

" Campaign yard signs can be purchased here and the full list of tour dates is below. Should constituents choose to post pictures of their yard signs to the band's Facebook page, they will be rewarded with an unreleased MP3 from the campaign committee. Become a delegate and support Deer Tick's policies NOW! They Want YOU!"

I like Deer Tick a lot, they are a really, really good rock and roll band and let's be honest, that's something of a rare breed.

Here is where they will be stumping for YOU to vote with YOUR BUCKS!

By the way, no nyc date… strange, right? Closest they get is Stone Pony. Then they wrap it up at Newport.
