Mod Sun “All Night, Every Night” Feat. The Ready Set Reviewed

Girls, booze, friends, huge grins, and one camera. These four things pretty much sums up hippy hop's favorite positivist Mod Sun's new video for his single "All Night, Every Night," featuring Jordan from The Ready Set.
I wonder; is Mod Sun ever angry about anything? Seems almost impossible. Here is a man who has both his ego and superego perfectly balanced, constantly showing that big bright smile and saying nothing but positive things about life. I'm convinced that if he was homeless and handed a cardboard box and some tape, he'd make a tiny hut and still be the happiest man alive.

The video is introduced by Mod Sun himself, a camera in his hand. "All night, every night baby the party does not stop, I promise you. I'm jumping on the party bus right now -sigh- it's gon get crazy." I did not doubt him.

I could imagine myself partying with the Pierrot that is Mod Sun, and probably enjoying the fact that he might be as crazy and wild as I am. It's hard to admit that.

I am such a fan, or 'friend' as he would probably call it, of Mod Sun, and this album is pure fun. I don't have to be his best friend to know that his good morals and words of wisdom are authentic, not some false front he puts up for the media. Nothing will keep Mod Sun in a bad mood, and he shows it in his everyday life. If you aren't a fan of his music, be a fan of his optimism. There's not much of that anymore. Artists need to learn to enjoy themselves as much as Mod does
