Marie Osmond has cancelled the rest of the week of her Donny and Marie Show in Las vegas, too overcome with grief over the death of her son eighteen year old Michael Bryan.
Usually we would be reluctant to pile it on but the rumors abound that the reason for Bryan’s depression was his closeted homosexuality.
Therein lies the flip side of Mormons and the Christian right wing and therein lies a tragedy.
