I didnt watch the Super Bowl.. I didnt see the Who perform
But I DID find the most awesome quote from Pete Townsend in like FOREVER regarding last nights big event!
“You know, you could kind of tell from the stage the crowd is really here for the game,” Townshend said.
“It was nice for that reason. It was nice to feel a part of something and not having it all to be about us,” adding “We’re too far gone to care I think.”
good to know…..now get the fk off the stage if you no longer care.

No no, thats not what he's saying. There were no audience members on the field doing that pretend inner circle of love . They came out and did their set. the stage and stadium effects were unbelievable.
