Feb 06 Madonna’s Half Time Super Bowl Show Reviewed
So with the world watching, Madonna enters the field to Vogue, as though she is three types of Cleopatra’s and proceeds to, well, vogue. The sound is loud and tinny, and, never a particularly melodic song, it is all dance moves and bass bottom. Who is playing? Sounds like DJs and backing tapes to me.

The problem with Lana’s album is the great thing about Cohen’s: the production. It is so de rigeur. The beats are so received, so often heard, so similar and so kinda out of place. Whatever you wanna say about Cohen, it sounds exactly like itself

Found and Lost by Helen Bach

From the makers of American Hardcore comes a new film idea and a good one at that. Lost Rockers is to be a documentary on those who just fell short of fame in the music biz. The runners up so to speak. This film also plans to showcase those who didn’t get the ‘props’ they deserved.

“For Every Rock star You’ve Heard Of, There are Others You Don’t Know But Should”

So begins the trailer on lostrockers.com. A web address that’s going to take you to kickstart.com, that’s going to ask you to donate to the funding of this endeavor.

The clip shows Jake Holmes, the writer of Led Zepplins infamous “Dazed and Confused”. Apparently the Zep never gave him credit and 43 years later we’re still talking about it for some reason.

Now this is the only example being given in the clip. Which is some dated sour grapes, guess we can call it a vintage whine now (yuk yuk get it get it?).

I love the idea, I don’t love the fundraiser (will there be a bake sale?), and as for profitability it wont.

American Hardcore, another work by Paul Rachman and Steven Blush, premiered at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival. A punk rock documentary that I have not seen, so I cant speak of it. Actually I had not even heard of the film until writing this but I will look it up.

I was in love with a girl who was sleeping with my best friend and cosin Ramsey and acting like a song by For Science (i was so in love with her and dont think she knew).
So… when she asked me to beard (I know, it’s a ;ong story and I cant br bothered) I did and while she was going crzy over a drummer I was having my life changed by the Sex Pistol,
