Love Via Dance Machine is a band in a category of their own, I could put them on and no one would have a doubt that there is no one else like them. Their latest song, “All is Fair in Love and Dance”, is a techno-pop song that is almost impossible to describe. The guitars along with the synth almost remind me of Cobra Starship, but I have to say that LVDM is better. I lose myself so easily in this song, it’s just plain beautiful. As if that wasn’t enough, I have to admit that I’ve been playing this song over and over again. Eric’s voice is so smooth it’s almost unbelievable.

Yet my absolute favorite song EVER from them is “Chapter Two”. It’s so easy to dance to and the wonderful lyrics are just icing on the cake. I think what really gets me is its storyline. A guy falling in love with a superhero girl? It makes you laugh a little bit considering how unusual it seems. Of course LVDM pulls it off with no questions asked.

Without a doubt, Love Via Dance Machine is my favorite techno/pop/you-can-barely-describe-them band, taking Cobra Starship’s place in my heart. All is fair in love and dance, I guess.
