Piano Version of "Forever And Always" Mighty Purty
Piano Version of "Forever And Always" Mighty Purty

“It rains in your bedroom everything is wrong, it rains when you’re here and it rains when you’re gone”. Taylor’s breaking up song gets a piano workout and it’s gorgeous. I actually wasn’t planning to buy it but my friend Alix Wartell wanted  it so I figured what the heck and I’m glad I did buy it.

It is a superbly delicate arrangement -not really a piano solo. For one thing, the piano is double tracked by the second verse, and for another, strings are all over it by the time you’re two minutes in . But like I said, it’s subtle and by the end of the song it is a single finger solo on the white keys and all you remember is the piano -it is subliminalally moving . Simply gorgeous take of  one of the two best songs on Fearless.
